What is no PFC？
No PFC, also known as PFC-free or PFAS-free, means our Faybric fabrics eliminate all perfluorocarbons and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances across raw material selection, dyeing and functional finishing procedures, fully cutting out persistent fluorinated chemicals commonly named “forever chemicals” in global textile industry. Traditional PFC additives including C8 and C6 fluorocarbon agents were widely applied for durable water repellent, oil-proof and anti-stain finishing on sportswear, outdoor jackets and swim fabrics, yet these compounds barely decompose in natural soil and water, easily accumulate inside human bodies via long-time skin contact and may trigger hidden health risks, hence restricted strictly by EU REACH, California textile laws and ZDHC chemical standards worldwide.
At Dongguan Jiadatai Textile (Faybric), we replace hazardous fluorinated treatments with eco-friendly silicone, acrylic and bio-based polyurethane DWR formulas to realize waterproof performance without PFC additives, keeping stable hand feel, wash durability and functional indicators for yoga fabrics, swimwear spandex and outdoor active textiles.
